Delete Your High Paw Account

This page explains how to delete your High Paw account and the data associated with it. High Paw ("we," "us") is the dog-social app published by Florea Adrian Baltag.
Delete your account from inside the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the High Paw app:
- Open High Paw and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab (bottom-right).
- Tap the ⚙ gear icon at the top of the Profile screen to open Settings.
- Scroll to the Danger zone and tap Delete account.
- Tap Delete account again to confirm.
You are signed out immediately and your account is queued for permanent deletion.
Delete your account by email
If you can't access the app, email contact@highpaw.org from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account." We will verify that you own the account and then process the deletion.
What is deleted
When your request is processed, we permanently delete:
- your dog's profile (name, breed, age, weight, energy level, sex/neuter status, bio);
- all of your dog's photos (the primary photo and gallery images);
- your community posts;
- your friendships and friend requests;
- the playdates you host or have joined;
- your account and sign-in record.
What is kept, and for how long
- Safety records. If you filed a report about another user, an account-level record of that report is retained for as long as needed to operate our safety system and to comply with the law. This record does not include your dog's profile or content, which are deleted as described above.
- Backups. Residual copies may persist briefly in backups before they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation.
How long it takes
Account deletions are completed within 30 days of your request, and usually much sooner.
